Introducing Ayhan in few words is really no easy task, since he's no ordinary photographer but a truly
multi-talented person combining a composer/song writer, a blues & jazz guitarist, a digital artist and a
filmmaker/director in one.

Ayhan M.Duman studied Art & Design at the Institute of British Designers / UK and Industrial Design & Visual
Communications at the Kunsthochschule Kassel/D and attended workshops in filmmaking, sound recording and
directing at the Akademie für Film und Fernsehen in Munich/D.

Prior to forming his own studio in Munich for advertising photography and commercial filming, he gained
extensive experience at the ARRI® camera manufacturer's film studios and post production facilities and the
renowned K3 photo-design studios, both located in Munich/Germany.

With such technical background plus a brain storming with ideas and imagination, Ayhan had all the necessary
and potential tools to develop and refine his lighting and image forming techniques, producing eye-catching
images over and over again during the last twenty years in this profession.

Long before digital imaging became available, Ayhan had a reputation in producing highly intriguing images
applying in-camera composition and motion-control techniques, blended together with his own lighting tool,
the "
Magical Mystery Torch"® light system, which aroused attention and recognition worldwide.

Today, with the high-end studio at his command, it's no surprise that he turns out even more eye-catchers,
which do not necessarily reveal the typical computer effects look. Ayhan's unmistakeable style has brought
him the "Design Journal Award" for outstanding photography and the "Millennium Photographer" title for his
creative lighting and photographic design.

Images which may be mistaken for being digitally post-manipulated, may in fact be straightforward shots and
those which might look ever so simple and shot off the hip could be the result of a long day's shooting plus
extensively yet carefully balanced digital manipulation.

It's always a great pleasure working with this humorous person and a relief to know that no matter how
difficult and challenging the task, Ayhan will always come up with a perfect solution, masterfully executed.
